APPROACH

KIN partnered with Hope For New York to develop a creative concept that highlights the rich diversity and energy of NYC. Through cinematic visuals, scripted voiceover, and animated graphics, we crafted a brand narrative that shows how hope takes root in every corner of New York, from the Bronx to Staten Island. We collaborated closely with the HFNY team to ensure the film was strategically designed for longevity, capturing timeless themes of community, transformation, and compassion. The result is a film that serves as both an introduction to their mission and an invitation to join the movement.

THE CHALLENGE

Hope For New York needed a brand film that could capture the breadth and depth of their work across New York City's five boroughs. With 60+ affiliate organizations serving diverse communities, HFNY wanted to create an evergreen piece that would introduce audiences to their mission, inspire people to get involved, and serve as the visual foundation for their brand for years to come. The film needed to be emotionally compelling while showcasing the tangible impact of their network, all without becoming dated or tied to a specific campaign.

RESULTS

The brand film has become the visual centerpiece of Hope For New York's identity, anchoring their recent website rebrand and serving as a powerful tool for donor engagement, church partnerships, and public awareness. Its evergreen design ensures HFNY can continue using it to inspire action and tell their story for years to come.
