APPROACH
KIN partnered with Nomi Network to produce a film series featuring the stories of four women from India, Cambodia, and the US who were equipped to start their own businesses after completing the Nomi Network Workforce Development Program. Collaborating closely with Nomi Network’s US and international teams, we produced four short films that premiered during Nomi Network’s International Women’s Day campaign.
THE CHALLENGE
In 2023, Nomi Network was preparing to expand and scale its workforce development programs from Asia to the US, where the need is significant. With women and girls representing 71% of trafficking victims globally, the organization needed innovative strategies to amplify its message and maintain donor engagement across the country.
RESULTS
The films helped raise over $500,000, won three Telly awards, and have significantly increased awareness of Nomi Network’s mission to end human trafficking through safe employment.
